SAP Report Connector

Hi Friends,

We are trying to use SAP Report Connector. We don't have much information about the SAP System. The person who know about is also on vaccation.

So, does SAP will have some Sample Reports inside it?

How can we access these Reports?

If not and if we try to create reports, how we need to create it?

When we asked the SAP technical Expert they are asking "How the report should be, Whether it should be displayed in SAP System or the Query should be triggered as Report through mail?

They asked, can QV read BAPI, so that they can create BAPI and QV can call this BAPI and pull data from that.

Since we are evaluating SAP Connector it is urgent.

Could you please help me.

Dear Srinivasan,

                With the help of SAP Report Connector You can Fetch output of all

sap report who generate spool in SAP System.

you have to make variant in SAP for the report and then you have to write program name of SAP Report along with Variant Name.

Hope , this will clear your confusion.

Solution

You can execute BAPI From Qlikview but for that you have to make ABAP Program who call that BAPI .

and you have to call that ABAP Program in Qlikview.

Hi Sunil,

In the SAP System, they have created Sample Report.

I can able to open through SAP Report Connector.

And i did some styling to pull data from that.

The script is also added. But when i try to reload, i get "Script Error".

May i know why i get this problem.

Even when i do correct formatting it show "Script Error".
