SalesForce connector - slow reading

Hi.

Connecting to SalesForce via the SalesForce Connector works fine using User/Pw/Token, but extracting the data is very slow, it takes about 15 min. to extract 550.000 lines.

Is that the way it has to be, or can I do something to better the read-speed?

QVSource also has a Salesforce Connector - there is a free trial and it would be interesting to know if it gives the same performance issues:

Try to load only required fields for your application, not all ; it will make u faster- I used free connector available from QlikView..

We are also using the free connector, and went with the same solution: loading the smallest amount of data possible.
