difference between .qvd and qvd(qvd)?

HI Team,

while creating qvd generally we will use .qvd and .qvd(qvd)  with STORE command,both conditions are generating  Qvd ,then what the difference between of them. please answer me.

Hi, (qvd) is the format of the stored file:

As said in help page (qvd) is set by default, still I prefer to specify the format in case these default changes in some future version.
