Can you append data to an existing excel worksheet from QV?

Here's my goal:

1. Extract data from a excel worksheet into QV - (doable)

2. Do transformations (doable) and then append data to the same excel worksheet (trouble- can delete worksheet and insert)

3. Refresh Pivot Tables in excel (never done this before in macro)
