How to Reference Previous value in a chart?

Hi All,

I have a chart in the following format (see attached).  Currently, the variable "SHUT_IN_COMMENTS" only displays for the first day.  I want to comment to display for all days in which the variable "SHUT_IN" = 1.  Here is the logic I need:

If SHUT_IN = previous(SHUT_IN) AND WellName = previous(WellName) then print previous SHUT_IN_COMMENTS else print current SHUT_IN_COMMENTS.

This won't work in the script due to the sorting.  I did the sorting in my chart/table, but am having a problem getting the above function to work property.
