Qualifier Field.JPG

In the result window of the wizard the finished table is displayed ok. If I loading the script the result is that I will become also the date for the data field.date_data.JPG

What is the problem. Why QV dont load the data like the Result of the wizard?

Please help. Thanks

Hi Parthiban.

Yes I will attach a sample. The sample is ok and works right.

the principle is the same like in the orginal. The difference is that one more lines bettween the data in the orginal.

I have one more question. Why cannt I change the format of the date?

Please look at the sample.

Actuallu the first rename the field Date with any other name, lik, ORD_DATE

In QV if the data aligned on the LEFT means its a TEXT and if its aligned right means its an formated one.

Formated one in the sense, either its an number or an date..

Now u would be clear its an unformatted one..

Use Date#() to explictly change it to Date

Thanks

Ok the problem with the date is clear.

ButI still I have the problem that the data is output as a date. I think it is the same problem like the date.

The data in the Excel spreadsheet with commas, like 52,23 etc..

What can I do?

Yeah svenarnold, what Gysbert Wassenaar told was right..

u should use this to convert that

Date(Num#(Date))

I guess u would've changed now
