Search within dimension data, based on fact data // Set analysis

Hello,

To illustrate my question, I've created a small QV file and a image.

I hope both are clear... if not, do not hesitate to ask me further details.

In short, there are two questions:

    1. How much does the a test called 'Kalium' actually cost, based on a configuration table holding prices with a specific time range validity.
    2. How much does the a test called 'Kalium' actually cost FOR ALL THE TESTS (table results), based on a configuration table holding prices with a specific time range validity. ==> So this last question will be a sum of tests which cost X, a sum of all tests which cost Y, ...

I've made some set analysis trials, but I can't get it work...

Any help is highly appriciated (as always )

Kind regards,

Maarten

Hi

I had a look but I don't understand your datamodel as provided in your qvw.

According to your point 2. a Propertys(Kalium/Natrium) price depends on the date,

so I would assume there would be a direct link between Property and Tariff,

but in your model it goes thru a couple of other tables.

Why is that?
