Sum of History - Qlik Community

Hi Community,I'm trying to sum the history of values for a particular field. I want to be able to sum all the years and months prior to the current selected year month. How would I go about doing this?

I autonumber generated a number called "PeriodNumber"for each period in the script which starts with Jan 2011 as 1 and goes to the present month and year May 2013 as 16. I have a year and month selector on the dashboard and was wondering if their selection could influence the value of a "vVariable" I could compare against in the set analysis saying something like PeriodNumber = {$(<=$(vVariable))}?

Hi,

You can assign the value of variable as '=max(Year)'

This will have current year when no selection has made and if selection is made it will have that.
