Text on chart showing up twice (sometimes)

As can be seen on the attached chart, I have data values that are showing up twice on a chart, but only when I have multiple shapes on the graph.  However, if I delete the two purple boxes, then the doubling happens on all the years with a diamond.

The amount being shown is actually an expression that adds up the value for each of the bars, but isn't on the graph itself.

I just upgraded to 11.20 SR5, so I think I have the latest version.

Any thoughts?

For Risk Comidor Start

Go to expression tab and untick show values on data point..

The only expression with the 'values on data point' checked is the sum expression that isn't shown.  The 7 expressions that you see on the chart have it unchecked.

can you share your sample apps or file?

Not easily --- it's one graph in a very large file with lots of company data in it that I can't share.
