Accesspoint user rights to reload file - Qlik Community

I would like an Accesspoint user to be able to reload a file. File is normally updated every two hours but this user want the file to be updated when needed. Is there any simple solution to that?

You could create a trigger task and have it fired from a URL.

Search the forum for EDX tasks.

Be careful that you find the right solution for the version you are running.

If you are running v11 you can't do a reload from Accesspoint using macros anymore.

It can be done though if your user has .Net 4 installed on their machines.

Thanks it was really helpful answer . I have got some solution from the Community currerntly we are using version 10. I couldnt make it completely working . Let me see other alternatives.

Alternative is to reload very often.

The EDX method works, we use it a lot.
