Active Directory not working

Hi All,

When i gives the path of active directory in directory service(LDAP://domain.com), it shows asterisk and error shows "Setting up connection failed; The server is not operational" . I am unable to connect to AD. Screenshot is attached, what will be the cause of this error and what is the solution?

Hi Lalit,

Please check with this....

The account running the directory service connector (DSC) needs to be a member of the domain to have rights to query the Active Directory.

Another way, is to provide the credentials of an account that is a domain member in the logon tab for the DSC.
