Adding another QVS to an existing server

Hi all

I have a QV server with a working QVS installed.

We received a temporary QVS license in order to try the QV Workbench.

Can I install it on my server in addition to the existing QVS license?

I see that its possible to add a server under Qlikview Servers, but I'm not sure what will be the outcome..

Thanks!

Is something related to clustering of servers and that requires a special license (to be bought). AFAIK, you won't be able to install the temporary licensed server in the one which is already having one, unless you have 'virtual machine' as an option (I guess).

No, the two licenses are for distinct servers, they cannot be combined in any way. You cannot even install them on the same machine. You'll have to install the temporary license on a separate server.

The adding of server is either clustering as tresesco mentioned, or adding it to your existing QMC to manage the server from a single location.
