Application access problem in Accesspoint

Hi Everyone,

                    I have document with Section access, it is reloading successfully in  Qlikview Server. But I am getting error in Access point stating that "Failed to load document. You don't have access to the document" for all the Access(Admin and Users).

Admin can able to access the application  in Qlikview Desktop ,but not in Accesspoint.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The fact that qlikadmin can open the document in QV Desktop is because the assigned role is ADMIN. ADMIN users can all open this document in QV Desktop and see everything, whatever the data reduction links. This role is meant for Developers that usually don't like to get kicked out of their own document (happens with every developer at least once)

The ADMIN role doesn't exist in the AccessPoint. Every user listed in the SA table is a USER by default. If qlikadmin or anybody else cannot open a document in the AP this usually means that one of the following is true:

  • Strict exclusion is enabled and users have no suitable values that link to data in Section Application. Data reduction reduces to nothing and everybody is kicked out. Check the correct linkage by putting the Section Access; statement in comments and reloading. Then simulate different users and see what happens.
  • File rights (NTFS) are incorrect. Maybe the service account can reload and show a thumbnail, but no one else can access the file itself. Check the NTFS rights of the QVW in Windows Explorer.

Are you not missing '*' as ORGKEY while loading Admin details ?
