Authorization on all QlikView app. is disappeared

Hi

We have a QlikView installation (version 11.20 SR3 build 12018) in a clustered environment (incl. two front end servers running QlikView server and a backend server running the Publisher (QlikView BackEnd components 11.20.12018.0)). The server is set up with DMS Authiriztation.

After a reboot of the backend server in this week, all authorization for all documents are disappeared and the end users are not able to view their documents on the AccessPoint!

Is there anyone who has any idea about what is happened here?

Thank you in advance

HI,

That would mean something has happen to all the meta files. Did you change the folder structure and moved the qvw's to a new location and forgot to move the .share and .meta files?

This happend on some of our files 2 weeks ago. Nothing done on server more than win updates and restart.

Finally found that the meta files was corrupt. Right clik file and restore previous version fixed it.

Ali,

For any chance do you have an antivirus in any of those machines? Have you excluded of scanning any of the Qlikview folder files?

Hi Bill

I work as an external consultant for the customer. I come to remember that the customer had moved a big amount of data from the current hardware to another and new hardware. This contains also data related to QlikView.

During the movement of data location, the frontend servers were running, but the backend server was stopped! Right after this action, we restart the backend server, and could consider that the applications were disappeared on the Accesspoint and what happened to the authorization on the applications..

I cannot see any changes on the data and folder structure on the server, but I would hear this may has any impact on our problem with disappearing of the authorization (or damaging of the meta files)?
