Automatic Dashboard Refresh

Hi community,

I was wondering if anyone new how to automatically refresh a dashboard, without having to make a button click.

I know you can go to Document Settings-> and set the refresh mode to "automatically without client action."

Then you have to do something with QEMC server options or Server Settings.

Does anyone know what has to be done in those options to get this to work?

Regards,

Brandon

Automatic Dashboard Refresh

Also, I was wondering if a macro could be made to periodically refresh the dashboard or at least the data from the server?

Automatic Dashboard Refresh

He Brandon,

It is possible to automatically refresh a dashboard.

The only way I could get it to work was with the ie plugin. Via the Ajax client it doesn't work without clicking.

Automatic Dashboard Refresh

You can set a reload schedule for the document in the QEMC.

Re: Automatic Dashboard Refresh

Just to add, I've logged the fact that Ajax doesn't auto refresh (like IE plugin does) as a bug with Qlikview. Hopefully they will find a solution to this.
