Backup means you need to copy your qvds and qvws files in some other area and when required you can check and copy it again.

It will just be a standard file system backup. Probably best to check your own company's backup policies.

Backup policy is depends upon company to company you need to throw check with backup process other wise there could be big cost !! If you not take proper backup of Qlikview.

Hi,

Kindly confirm if any specific is needed for qlikview or it can be backed up or restored at file level as we use IBM TSM for file system and database.

Is there any documents which explains about step by step process to take backup in qlikview.

QlikView just puts files in folders, so just needs a standard file system backup.

The files may on occasion be in use, but that is the same for pretty much any files anywhere.
