Big Problem with Add CALs

Hello I have a big problem when I want to add a user CALLs, the error is as follows:

Thank you

Message from webpage

DSC did not respond to request.

Last exception (for http://localhost/DSC/Service): ANY did not respond to request.

Last exception (for http://localhost/DSC/Service): An error occurred while receiving the HTTP response to http://localhost/ANY/Service. This could be due to the service endpoint binding not using the HTTP protocol. This could also be due to an HTTP request context being aborted by the server (possibly due to the service shutting down). See server logs for more details.

Hello,

Can you actually see the service for DSC running on your server? This can be seen in the management console under Status > Services. If this is not running, then I would recommend a restart of the windows Service under services.msc of the QlikView server itself.

If the DSC is showing as running, then it would be interesting to see if other areas like adding users to the DSC, under custom directory (or other interactions with DSC) actually works.

Thanks.

Hello Ciro,

From looking at your first screenshot, I find it weird how you would have two DSCs defined (one being localhost and another from the server itself). What do you see in the Management Console under System > Setup > Directory Service Connectors? If you were to remove this (localhost), then this could possibly resolve the issue.

From my understanding, there should only be a need for one DSC, unless you are clustering DSC and would have multiple instances.
