Can I sum the columns in a pivot table

I have weekly sales numbers in a pivot table... how can I get a column to show the sales for the year?

Like for Kmart, 161,365+ 125,774+ 36,583 = 323,722

the Show Partial Sums option sums the column, so I get a total for all 4 retailers summed by week, I want a total for each retailer for YTD.

On the Presentation tab select each of the fields you want to Sum by and tick the Partial Sums box.  Experiment with where the totals appear as you tick for each dimension.  You can move totals to the Top and Left by ticking Subtotals At Top, otherwise they are at the Bottom and Right (you can not have Top and Right though).

Hope that helps.

As Steve mentions, you can have partial sums for different dimensions. I think in your case, you should click partial sums for your DATE field.

Hope this helps!
