Just wondering if there was a way to see which documents users are actually using. We have 30+ users who have full licenses to download and want to find out which users are using which documents
thanks
Something like this? Or you can use it as an example to design your own.
see the server logs.
hope it will help
you can also download qvs monitor app from community.
hope this helps
you can even create your own qvw to load data from Session logs. Given below fields will be present in the QlikView session log which can tell you which user has accessed which document when.

I have the ops monitor, but it does not show downloads, only users who view documents via access point. This doesn't do any good since most of our users download documents and it does not show that on the ops monitor doc
have you change path of your log file.
yes
Hi,
I think there is option for to know which user downloaded which document?
but yes you can know which user accessing which report it means which qvw.
not the report inside it.
Regards,
The QlikView Server Events_xxx.log file contains a message for each started Document download. The details are:
SeverityID = 4
EventID = 700
Severity = Information
Message = FileDownload: User DOMAIN\username initiated download of document Whats New in QlikView11.qvw
You can easily make your own monitor in QlikView Desktop and publish it in the AccessPoint with a suitable reload timing, as the QlikView log files are all expressly designed to be read by QVWs.
Good luck,
Peter
