Can we Transfer Only certain selections across QVWs

Hi,

I am currently using the "transfer state" and "apply on top" features thru a button to transfer selections to another QVW.However, is there a way to only transfer selections common to both QVWs?As transferring a field which does not exist in the 2nd QVW does not make any sense.Please let me know your thoughts!Thanks in advance!
