Carriage Return in Document Description

Hi,

We are attempting to add descriptions to many of our dashboards through the Management Console to help keep things more organized.

The problem occurs when we want to create a line break in the Document Description field.

I have tried a variety of Qlikview, HTML, XML, and ASCII functions and characters for carriage return.  I have yet to find one that works.  Does anyone know of a symbol, character, or function that can force a carriage return in the document description?

Hi,

I think it is not possible, you can't enter any formula, html code, ASCII functions, etc. So anything you type in the text area is interpreted as plain text,

Unless anybody else has found a way to achieve this, I think is not possible,

It's not possible indeed. Why don't you use attributes just in the section below doc description in QMC?
