Change in QV version causes any issue with bookmarks?

Hello

Recently we have moved from QlikView 11.2 to 12.1 SR 1 . If the user has created any bookmarks on AcessPoint and now the QV version is changed to QV 12.1, does his/her old bookmarks be affected?

Will the same bookmarks be still available for the user?

Hello Vindhya,

No, there shouldn't be any issues with bookmarks upon an upgrade of QlikView server. Bookmarks are stored in the .shared file for each QVW. Be sure that you back them up (along with all of the other pertinent directories and files) prior to upgrading the QlikView Server. If the QVW is changed/edited so that new fields are added/removed, then current bookmarks may no longer work.
