Dear All,
One of the user is accessed the application yesterday and done something in that ( He said that he added a new chart object) , after that everything is crashed and he is seeing empty screen in few sheets except Default Home sheet and Help sheet. But the thing is if I publish the same application by changing its name as a different app, no issues in this case.
Note: This is not happening for other users. Everything is going on smooth from the last 2 months
A small work around from my side is ,
I removed the document call and added it after 24 hrs. ,Removed the bookmarks of that user , restarted the qlikview services as well and tried in different browsers also, But none is working.
Please if you experienced this kind of problem any where and any suggestions will help me a lot.
Regards
Ravikumar
Hi Ravi Kumar,
The issue is due to the chart which was created newly by the user. May be it is taking the entire CPU. Try getting the object id of the chart which the user has created and delete it. Publish the application again and this will solve your issue.

Naresh
Yes Naresh,
Might be this is the problem.
But when I clear the old document state before accessing it , It should open with old state right. But not happening like that.
As per your suggestion,
How can I get that object ID ?
If I am doing any action on those empty sheets , I am getting the message like lost connection to server and going to the home sheet.

Ravikumar
OK.
Go to QMC and under the user documents, you can see collaboration objects(all the objects created by the users).
Check for the latest object id created by that particular user and delete it from there itself. I don't think there is a way to get the exact object id without opening the qvw application. Be careful while estimating the object (may be the latest chart id CH.....)

Naresh
This also done.
But not working.

So have you deleted the object which is creating the issue?
Yes,I have already deleted all the objects which are created by that user.
Hi Ravi,
If the shared file is taken back up every day, one final thing what you can do is to replace the current .shared file with the previous one. If the issue is due to the adhoc objects created by user, this will solve the issue. If not, then the issue is with something else.
