Document open on the third tab instead of the first

hi,

I have published a qvw through QEMC and somehow it is openning on the third tab(sheet)of the QVW.

I have opened the qvw on QV software and selected the first tab, saved it and published it again but no luck!

Any ideas?

Hi,

If it's version 10 or higher, there is a setting in the Server called "Session Recovery" that creates and saves a bookmark for each user that logs into the application storing either the state of selections and the layout as well. You can easily check that in the QMC, Documents, User Documents, clicking on the document and checking the server objects created.

You can disable this in the QMC, System, Setup, QlikView Servers, expand and click on yours, Documents tab on the right.

Thanks for the quik replay,

I have logged to the QMC and clicked on User Document and then clicked on the document but I cannot see the  "checking the server objects created".

I also logged to the Document setting on th QEMC under System\QV Servers\Document tab and I see Prohibit session Recovery....it is not selected.

May you please guide me through more details.

Hi,

What version of QlikView Server are you running? It's on the right part of the QlikView (Enterprise if running version 10) Management Console, Server Objects tab.

Indeed,

If "Prohibit Session Recovery" is not checked that means that this feature is enabled, so this will work as mentioned above. Click on it and click on the Apply button if you don't want to behave the Server like this.
