Does a Developer CAL also use a Document CAL?

Hi,

On the server we have 5 Named User CALs and 8 Document CALs:

When I go to the Document CALs tab of a task, it will only allow me to set the number of Document CALs allocated to 3 (it prevents any higher number assignment).

So I'm wondering if the 5 Named User CALs are counting towards the total number of CALs assigned to the document

(i.e. 5 Named User CALs also count as Document CALs, so only 3 additional Document CALs can be assigned).

Cheers,

Richard

You could have some orphaned apps [documents].

Hi Bill,

No, this is the only document with any CALs assigned.

Thanks Bill!

I used the logs to find each possible document & location, recreated them then found the assigned Doc CALs.

Cheers,

Richard
