Downgrading Qlikview Server from 11.2 SR8 to 11.0 SR2

Hello All,

Last week I upgraded Qlikview server from 11.0 SR 2 to 11.2 SR8 but since than I am facing a hell lot of issues.

Is there a possibility that i can revert back the upgrade back to 11.0 SR2? IF yes, please guide through the steps and impacts.

Hi,

The issue I see with this is if you are using publisher and there were so type of changes to the QVPR database. If you have a backup of the QVPR from before the upgrade it shouldn't be an issues.

1. Stop all Qlik services

2. Remove the current version.

3. delete all Qlik folders.

4. install SR2 (at this point I don't it is supported anymore) and setup everything.

5. Stop all Qlik services and delete all files in the QVPR folder and then copy all files from backup

6. Restart services.

V11.00 Is no longer supported according to the terms of the qlikview patch policy.

Hi Hampus,

The main Draw back in 11.20 SR8 Calander object is not worked properly.FYI please go through the  below links

Hi,

You need to read the release notes for 11.20 SR12 to see if these issues have been fixed. It is not wise to run an unsupported version.
