Hello,
I have one User that works with an EDX Reload. Everything works as expected but the following error is popping up after every Reload.
The User is member of the following local Groups:
- QlikView EDX
- QlikView Management API
I don't find the cause of the Problem.
regards
tim
i did several changes at the same time. the "-" is not the real Problem here.
After reading the QMS API Documentation i found out that only the local groups
- QlikView EDX
- QlikView Management API
- QlikView Administrators
will effect EDX regarding operations.
this is a Special Scenario cause there are Task dependencies:
the user started Task 1 via EDX. That works fine.
On Success of Task 1 Task 2 is triggered. if that happens on command line Level the user Needs to be in the local Group "QlikView Administrators"
This error is being thrown for QMSEDX.exe it seems. Also, the error in the box below is stating that the "required access level is DocumentFolderAdministrator". Does this user have this access?
cause was a "-" in the source document Name.
Before: QVD-Gen-MDE.qvw
After: QVD_Gen_MDE.qvw
Now it works like a charm

That is odd you had to add the user to the QlikView Administrators security group, that is a bit of a problem in that it gives them full access to the Management Console to make changes etc. I would think believe the on successful completion trigger of the second task should trigger via the service account, there must be something in how you configured the tasks that is causing things. It may not be a bad idea to open a support case if you do not want to leave the person in the QlikView Administrators security group, so we can have a look and be sure there is not something we can address such that you do not need to do that.
