I would be interested to know if anyone has experienced the following and any possible solutions.
We have recently gone live with a new qvw document with contains several global search objects. The qvw is reloaded based on the successfully completion of another task and is 'always' preloaded into server memory which to date have successful. The task in question finishes approx 2.30am. When I open the qvw via Access point or a specifc URL in the morning the search objects do not appear until I re-run the reload task manually.
Does the document timeout settings in the QEMC have an affect on the global search objects, if so, why? Am I missing something glaringly obvious?
I appreciate any feedback.
I think there is a lot of problems with the 'always preload' option.
Take care of your logs, if the QlikView document cannot be preload, QlikView server write continuously inside. So the size of log file could increase very fast !

Thanks for the reply the document appears to reload fine, its just the Search object goes. Thanks for the warning on the logs.
