Graceful Document Refresh

Hi Folks,

I have implemented a Graceful Document Refresh on a Qlikview document on a server. The server is automatically pushing out new copies of the application to the users. It reloads every 30 minutes. The issue I have is that if a user is doing an analysis when the new copy of the application is pushed out it takes a significant amount of time for the new copy of the application to load and the existing copy freezes in the meantime. I did read another thread where someone else had the same issue but there was no solution. I am running in pilot mode at present so my user numbers are small. This number of users will increase significantly quite soon and the current time lag is unsuitable. Has anyone else experienced similar issues and if so did you manage to find a solution?

even I have the same type of implementation at one of my client.

And I remember that I don't face any problem as such.

I was using publisher to distribute the document.

Might be there is version conflict?

I use V10 SR1 what version do you use?

If you use version 9 try to upgrade to version 10 SR1.

If you still get problem them open the case with QlikTech
