Iam having thefollowing problem: I'm installing the11.20.12347.0versionofQlikView. My PCis equippedwith the operating systemWindows8.1Pro. Myprocessoris an Intel CoreQuadQ94002.66Ghz. Windowstellsmethat the operating systemis 32-bitx64-based(in fact theprocessor is anx86,the identifier for thecentral processoris"x86Family 6Model23Stepping10" on the registry).
Well, ifInowtry to installthe64-bit versionofQlikView, of course, the installer tells me that thesystemis not supported (right). But ifI try toinstallthe32-bit version, the installertells me
which means that theoperating system is notadequate for runningQlikViewx86.
Does anyone knowhelpme? thanks
PS:it definitely is notthe right group, but I have notfound onemost appropriate.
Re: Have you ever had problems installing QlikView?
Solved. As you can seefrom here, the combination 32bit+Win8 + Desktopversionis not supported. To be able tosuccessfully performthe installation,right-clickQlikViewDesktop_x86Setup.exeand set on the Compatibility tabof theProperties run as "Windows 7".
