How does one deploy from Source Control (e.g. TFS)?

Hey,

I am trying to get QlikView Management Console to deploy a QlikView project but that project is being kept in source control (TFS, in this case).   I cannot find out how publishing is integrated with source control.  Here are a few questions I would like answered:

  1.     How can I manually pick a branch in TFS and deploy latest from TFS using the QMS?
  2.     How can a task be scheduled that picks a branch in TFS and deploy latest from TFS using the QMS?
  3.     How can I pick a location in source control and a tag and deploy from that tag to a URL of my choice?

Thanks for the help.

Eric, below is a link that will at least prime you for Source Control.

We have a similar TFS requirement , but have not had time to apply TFS to our

QlikView environment as yet, else I would offer you some advice, I do anticipate writing TFS scripts

to do this, but first we have to get a repeatable manual process of deployment etc sorted. We are

new to QV but not new to TFS etc.

At this point we are deploying to Prod and UAT manually, although we do keep our QVW's in TFS 2012

I use SubVersion for my QlikView Source Control and it integrates well with the QV Desktop.

Whilst it is very useful for controlling the source of my qvw's, there is no integration of it into the QlikView Management Console / Publisher.
