How to Assign CAL without Active directory?

I need to know is it possible to assign CAL to the user without windows Active Directory Authentication.

How to assign CAL to the users? I have Small Business Edition

Hi,

     Yes you can. If you dont have the AD then you can use the local directory or the Custom directory to assign the CAL's to users who belongs to that directory.

Just a small point: you can't use Custom directory with SBE,

Unfortunately with the SBE, Active Directory is the only option available. Custom Directory is only available in the Enterprise Edition of QlikView Server.
