How to install IIS and QVS in a different server

We are installing QVS environment and It is necessary to keep front end and back end in separate servers.

So I wonder, Do you have information or any guide to install the IIS and QVs in differents servers?

You can find several guides in the Qlik Support portal (like article 3344 "How to configure: QlikView and IIS"). But to make it short, you have to specify a custom installation, with the "Microsoft IIS Support" and "QlikView Server Client files" as only options selected in the webservers.

Then from the QMC you add the IP address or FQDN of the webserver and move from there.

Safest path: ask Qlik Consulting to provide the several guides they have to install IIS as webserver for QlikView
