Yes. you need to keep your server on internet.

Sorry I didnt mean is it technically feasible - I was querying if it was permissible under the licensing rules for QlikView

I believe there is no such geographical restriction in licensing clause. There are numerous organisations spread all over the world and they do not require location wise licensing.

It is possible, I think we need to connect to the network in which qlikview server is installed and then lease license from that.

I just gone through user license agreement document of Qliktech.

I didn't find anything related to location specific.

Yes, definitely you can allocate CAL user to any location, we have same setup. I have server setup in US but allocated CAL user in India.
