IBM x3950 server

Hello

I am trying to run a qlikview application in an IBM x3950 server with the following specs:

2 X3950 M2 servers, 2 x Xeon Six Core X7460 130W 2.66GHz/1066MHz/148 MB ram

The application runs very slow, we even compared the performance with a 64 bit notebook and the notebook runs better.

We believe is the new ibm chipset.

Has anybody worked successfully with this technology?

Hi,

148 MB of RAM is way too little. Check memory usage when running application.

Try installing the latest Firmware (especially if you have upgraded any of the components), helped in our case.
