IIS SSL and QEMC AccessPoint

I have moved away from QlikView webserver because SSL security profile was showing weak ciphers and SSL 2 and I could not see where to disable these.  Now we are running IIS and everything is working fine apart from AccessPoint settings in QEMC, if I tick require SSL in IIS the settings are longer displayed in QEMC, if I un-tick SSL they work fine.  If I try to access the URL directly from a browser I get prompted for credentials, what am I missing?

Hi kumarm215,

You mean to say that all the request should tunnel through port 80 instead of 4747?

Thanks

Venkatesh

Hi Venkatesh, by default http request gets route thru port 80 and port 443 for https.
When you said thru IE Plugin you are not able to open the document, pls check whether so called error is getting due to any tunnelling issue or not. If it shows any tunelling related error then u need to specify qv tunnel in IIS.

Hope this helps you.

You always need to open the document by clicking on "No" option only, and same need to be communicated to your users as well.
Just mark me in case if you get any tunnell related issue after you open the document by clicking on "No" option otherwise this is the regular way to open the doc in IE plugin mode.
