In QMC, I am not able to setup document folder or mount drives!

Hello Fellow QlikView Engineers.


I have an issue configuring QMC is a brand new environment.


Have you seen this issue before or experience this issue before?


Service Account in the Local admin group. I can use this account to map drives to shared folders and explore Network resources.

OS: Windows 2016

QV Version: 12.20 SR 7


I have installed...

QlikView Desktop, QDF, Documents & Source folders are located on virtual Server 4

QMC Service & QDS Service are installed on virtual Server 3.

QVS Service & DSC Service are installed on virtual Server 2

QVWS Service installed on Virtual Server 1


I can manually enter the UNC path in QMC. But i like to validate if the UNC open to the correct folder. Every time i open the folder icon, i can only see "My computer". I want to explore "My Network Places" and point Virtual Server 4

Check the Windows Services applet to see if the Computer Browser services is enabled/started on all of the virtual servers.
