Is there a reason QV12 could be slower than QV 11.20?

Hello.

Our client had QlikView Server 11.20.12451 SR7. After upgrade to version 12.1 SR3 the client has noted longer response time in apps in access point, longer times to complete reload tasks and some tasks now go to queue (somehing that they didn't see before).

Isn't QV12 supposed to be faster? Is there a scenario in which it could perform slower? (hardware related, or some script functions that were faster in QV 11.2?)

Regards.

QV12 has a different internal kitchen than QV11.xx, since the engine is now based on Qix, the Qlik Sense associative engine. This may have an impact on Accesspoint and reload performance, sometimes faster, sometimes slower.

From the QV12IR release notes:

QV12 slower than QV11 thread259553.jpg
