Licence Lease with document CALs?

Hi all,

I see from my reading on upgrading to v9 that there are now 'Document CALs' and these can be assigned to named users at the document level using QV EMC.

The manual refers to 'leased licences' which can be borrowed and 'must make an authenticated log on.....and obtain a Named CAL'. Is this referring specifically to a Named CAL licence or does it mean a named user to a specific document (ie a Document CAL) can lease a licence for access to it off-line?

Its a bit confusing .

This is the reply I got from our Account Manager:

Document CALs do not support off line working, only Named CALs provide this facility.
