Moving from desktop license to CAL

Hi,

We have a few users that run the application with purchased desktop licenses on their personal computers.

We want to change that, and to have them access the application by the web access in the QV server.

In this case, is Qlik willing to change the personal licenses to CAL with a refund?

Thanks.

Yes this is possible.

Talk with account manager or Qlik contact in your organization.

You need not to pay they will add local cal to server.

Hope it helps.

there is no desktop licenses available with new versions of qlikview and i believe the version you are using  is prior to Version 9. so if you want to have your users accessing the documents via web server you need to buy the CAL and i do't think qlikview will refund for desktop licenses

Hi Surendra,

We are using version 10. So you might refer to it as a (fully paid) personal/developer license.

Thanks.

please refer to this link http://goo.gl/RlhPfg

You can find the technical brief of Qliktech regarding the License leasing to open documents in Through qlikview Server.

i do't think qlikview will agree for changing desktop to CAL's as you can find the answers for the reason in the document specified.
