NUMBER_OF_CLUSTER_NODES

Hi Folks,

I have done below cluster configuration:

Machine A: QMS, DSC, QVS
Machine B: QVS
Machine C: QVS
Machine 😧 QDS

I have added all 3 QVS in QMC successfully however  NUMBER_OF_CLUSTER_NODES=2.
How can it be possible? What is the meaning of NUMBER_OF_CLUSTER_NODES?

NUMBER_OF_CLUSTER_NODES is part of your license. It means your license allows two nodes in your cluster.

I have 3 QV Servers in my cluster however my license says I can configure up to 2 nodes , how can it be possible?

If you have added more nodes to your setup than allowed in the license, you will notice that one of the QVS nodes will shut down (the QVS event log will say it is due to too many nodes).

Remove the extra node to be license compliant again.

The specific error to which Sonja referenced in the QVS Event Log is Cluster Join Denied I believe.
