New LEF (existing server) says success but LEF reverts to old on apply

We have a production LEF on a running server, QV9.

The LEF was generated on the website using the correct OS and QV version (9).

When we apply the license, serial and control, the QMC says "Success" in green but at that instant the body of the LEF reverts back to the old license, a smaller user count.

Restarting services doesn't help.

Is there any way to get the new license to stick without an uninstall and reinstall?

Hi, it seems that you are trying to implement a new license on your server... if that the thing then we need to uninstall the existing frame and which we don't want but there is no other way... can you please be more elaborative about your query...

That is correct: I am trying to install a new LEF (license file) on an existing server.  So the solution is to uninstall the QV server application and reinstall in order to apply the new license?

No, you should not have to uninstall QVS to get it to work. You might need to open a ticket with support.

A few ideas

- Make sure the antivirus/antispyware is disabled

- Make sure the user running the services is a local admin

- Please try creating a new user to run services.
