Open URL upper case value changes to lower case on the URL ber with QV11 SR14

We have recently installed QlikView Server 11 SR14 and below issue appeared.

The URL value becomes lower case on the URL bar when the open URL action passes the upper case value on the access point. (See the attached qvw). The issue does not appear on QV11 SR10.

Has anyone got any idea?

The Qlik support advised that the issue has been registered as a bug and It will be fixed SR15.

The suggestion from Qlik are below.

1.    Downgrade to SR13 to avoid the issue.

2.    Wait for a new SR15. If the issue is not critical to your business.

3.    Wait for a next patch version (SR 14)

Thanks for your comment, but we have to stick to IE and chrome. Thanks anyway.

Is that a problem? I believe you may run into trouble if parameter values are passed in lower case as well (causing a possible parameter mismatch in chained documents), but the case of web pages doesn't really matter on Windows machines. Or does it?

The SR15 has been released yesterday and confirmed it covers the issue.

Hi,

today we run also in this problem. But we using on a test system qlik view 12 SR5. It seems that this lower case url problem is still open for qlik view 12.

Is there a plan to fix this in the next sr?

Thank you and best regards

Stefan
