Overriding security setting made in qv 11 in qv 10 - Qlik Community

Hi all,

i unchecked the reload on a document in qv version 11 but now i can't undo it in qv version 10(which i'm currently using)

Please help!!

Are you using QlikView Publisher or QlikView Server? Can you not see the document anymore? Did you migrate to QV 11 and then return to QV 10?

it's the client rather, i developed an application and restricted reload on the document on QV 11 but can't undo the that on QV 10.Hope it is clear now. Thanks

Are you not seeing the Security tab in the Document Settings window? If not the problem is that you are logging into the QVW with a user that is defined in the ACCESS column of section access as a USER and not a ADMIN.

If the problem really is the change from QV 11 to QV 10, then the only option is to modify it in QV 11.

Hi Karl,

I do see the security tab in the document setting window, and even check the reload and apply but doesnot take effect.

Alternatively i tried the section access with ADMIN same result.

Just have to create a new Application then.

I can't possibly provide the entire QlikView Document due to security reasons and i seriously don't know how

snap shots would be of any help to you.
