Passing through a userid and password through a log-in page

We are working on creating a partner portal for my company and will be using Qlikview as the interface that are partners are gong to view.

The partners will go to a log-in page that's created by my company.

It will be a simple login page with userid and password. The user will enter their userid and password and click on submit. These credentials need to be passed through to qlikview.

Does anyone have a recomendation as to how we could have the userid and password passed throught to qlikview? I'm imagining that this could be done through the url that's created once the user clicks on the submit button but wanted to get any ideas/experience in doing this.

I suggest that you copy some parts of the original Qlikview web page.

Default web page allox you to add a tag with user id and password. This requires that you activate the allow non authenticated users to log on your Qlikview web site.

Doing this you'll be able to retrieve user id and link the correct section access rights based on the user id.
