Pivots on server: collapsed vs expanded dimensions

Hi,

I open a document locally and it has a pivot with a dimension expanded on value A, but value B is collapsed..

I deploy it on the server for publishing, and the same pivot has value A collapsed and value B expanded

All users have had this behaviour, and I double checkd that the document, once opened locally, has the right behaviour.

has anyone encountered this?

We are using the AJAX client.

Re: Pivots on server: collapsed vs expanded dimensions

I had had some time ago a similar case and the cause was that the pivot-object was corrupted. I rebuilt the pivot from the scratch (only copying the expressions - temporary into an editor - and from there within the new pivot).

Well, that is something.

I have had two "corrumptions" on Qlikview objects this week. One was on containers that had listboxes, and now this.

Starting to feel like we need something else for Data visualization.

These kind of bugs (corruption of objects) are quite rarely and I think it will be difficult to find a tool which has less bugs by such many features and performed so fast. Nevertheless you are right and some more efforts to improve the program quality would be desirable.
