Publishing a new dashboard on 9.0

Can any one please tell me how to publish a new dashboard to AccessPoint. So far, I have been able to create a source document on the QlikView Management Console and created a task to reload it and to distributre it. But this fails. I noticed that this document is not showing up on the User Documents tab so something is wrong.

Can anyone describe the full process to publish a dashboard? I've done research, but nothing clearly shows you the step by step process.

Thanks.

1) Install QlikView Server and make sure its running well (Step by step in the Reference Guide)

2) Create a folder in your machine that will hold the QVW´s (dashborads, applications) and copy your QVWs there. In the "QlikView Management Console > QlikView Server Settings" panel, assing this folder as the root folder. All qvw there should apper i...User Documents".

Thank you for responding. I gave it another try, but it failed.

The error message was

The task "Dovico Dashboard" failed. Part of the log file follows:

6/2/2010 1:38:56 PM Error The Source Document was NOT reloaded successfully. DocumentPath=C:\QlikView\Dovico\QVW\Dovico Dashboard.qvw.

6/2/2010 1:38:56 PM Error Reload failed.

6/2/2010 1:38:56 PM Error Reload failed. Distribution skipped.

6/2/2010 1:38:56 PM Error The task "Dovico Dashboard" failed. ErrorCount=3

The QlikView Server Setting root folder is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\QlikTech\Documents so this may be a problem. But this is the way it was set up by the person who just left this job which I inherited and it has been working without a problem. Otherwise all of the above settings were correct. Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Look at the document log to find the cause of the reload failure. The document log is in the same folder as the qvw. If no document log is present, check the "Generate Logfile" option on the General tab of the document properties.
