Hi,

we're facing strange problem.

we can lease license from the QV server(remote machine) on the local systems but can't do so from the QV desktop installed on the same machine as the QV server.

It always shows 'You are running Qlikview Personal Edition'

Any idea how to solve this ?

just enable to lease license : shows 'You're running Qlikview Personal Edition' on the top right

is it maybe that the user trying to lease the licence already has it claimed on two other machines? there is a limit (2) to how many machines the same user can use the licence on. try removing the user entirely and adding it back as newand leasing the licence "fresh" on the server.

Check on Server You have Checked Allow Lease license and Your Machine should be in Network.

QlikView license for Server and Desktop will not be the same. Please check the support team,

Have you tried to go to File -> Open in Server - and then write localhost or . (on your server) - And then just add one of the document (then it should switch by itself)
