QV take 4 min to open , it is cause by too many TAB or Screen ?

Hi All

I have a QV doc , which take about 4 min to open this doc.

This doc is reading many QVD table. and it have many QV screen.

From my experience. i aware that if i have too many TAB ( Screen ) QV will need to load all the data on the chart or table before it open the QV doc to allow user to use the program.

So if i remove the number of  TAB from 100 to 50 , it will speed up the loading.

So i think this is the disadvantage of QV ver 9 , it cannot take in too many screen ?

can some one help me to confirm on this.

Hi Jason

After see Clever use binary load , and recall this can be my solution.

I have found the solution for fast loading..

I use  QVW file i post in this question. and i clean all the script.

I use binary load to read all the table from the above QVW file which i post in this post.

And i copy those table chart to this QVW file.

and now it take less then 4 sec to load the file.

Final conclusion :-

1. My QVW file have too many sheet or TAB , cause QV to load slow.

2. Data model will not affect the loading time.

Thank you.

So some time a problem can have many soultion , it is best to try to figure out which is best.

Inline tables with no name gets some 'random' names. Maybe your version of your qvw is different from the qvw you´ve sent me.

Maybe now INLA6D1 does not exist anymore.

Hi Clever

You are right , the number keep changing, most impt now i know what you are try to combine those inline load table into one table. so the table model not so messy.

Now i can start to tidy up my data model.
