QVWS vs IIS: what is better?

Hi

We are going to install the QVS in a new machine and wanted to know if you know the advantages and disadvantages of having QVWS or Microsoft IIS as web server? what are the reasons to decide for one and not for the other? is possible to have both? Is there any special impact on the access point or any better user experience?

thanks

felipe

Re: QVWS vs IIS: what is better?

QVWS is easier to install and configured, and is designed to allow communication between a browser and a qlikview server, nothing more. On the other hand, IIS is a complex web server designed to host web applications.

In short, use QVWS if qlikview is the only application you need to host on the server, and IIS if you already have it and want to integrate qlikview into your existing architecture.
